Ms. Rhea Coogan is the nine-year old co-author of this book and Nancy's oldest granddaughter. Rhea is a strong-willed, witty, and incredibly independent young lady. She enjoys time outdoors with her younger sister, Della. She is responsible for feeding her chickens, taking care of the garden, and walking her dog, Fiasco. Rhea has chosen St. Jude's Children Research Hospital as the organization to donate 100% of the proceeeds from this book.

Dr. Nancy Coogan is a published author and the CEO of the nonprofit, Hope Grows Miracles. Nancy spent her career in public education advocating for equity and improving programs to better support all students. A native-born New Yorker, Nancy moved to the Pacific Northwest where she raised her family and retired as a school superintendent. She currently resides in Southern California staying active supporting various charities and enjoying every moment she gets to spend with her granchildren.
